Rebekah Lowenstein is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional (PMH-C) with 17 years of experience spanning therapeutic foster care, hospice social work, clinical supervision, and both group and private practice settings.
She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work and has since dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families through profound grief and transition. Rebekah has served as an adjunct faculty member and field supervisor for the Virginia Commonwealth University Master of Social Work Program, mentoring the next generation of social workers with a focus on ethics, empathy, and clinical depth.
A committed leader in the field, Rebekah has served on the Board of Directors for the Virginia chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She has presented for both her local NASW chapter and at the NASW national conference, sharing her expertise in grief, trauma, and perinatal mental health.
As the owner and founder of Blue Sky Therapy & Consulting, Rebekah focuses exclusively on providing EMDR intensives for individuals and couples who have experienced pregnancy, infant, or early childhood loss. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care and deep relational presence, creating a space where grief can be witnessed, and movement forward can begin—on each client’s own terms.
