Before the event, you will receive an email from CE-Go with access to the virtual event. After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link and access to the virtual event will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.

Target Audience

This educational activity is an intermediate level training for EMDR Therapists. All attendees must have completed Basic EMDR Training including all required consultation hours. This educational activity is intended for behavioral health professionals, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, and MFT's.

American Psychological Association
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
EMDR International Association
EMDRIA: Simply Rewire is an EC Provider (#23026) and this program (#23026-13) is approved
for 9 EMDRIA Credits. Eligibility for EMDRIA Credits is restricted to those who have completed an
EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training.

Event Learning Objectives

  • Explain the trauma response of dissociation within the framework of Polyvagal theory and describe four examples of dissociative responses within the eight phases of EMDR. (60 min)
  • Explain the evidenced-based treatment of dissociation using parts work. (30 min)
  • Identify clinical interventions to address dissociation and parts. (60 min)
  • Explain the process of the “Meeting Place” exercise as an intervention for treating dissociation. (2 hours)
  • Observe example of the “Meeting place” exercise (1 hour 15min)
  • Demonstrate competent use of the “Meeting Place” exercise (2hr 10 min)
  • Identify 3 areas of potential challenges when incorporating parts work with EMDR for dissociative clients (15 min)
  • Identify 3 clinical interventions to implement during each phase of EMDR to address dissociation. (35 min)
  • Identify 3 strategies to use for therapist’s self care. (15 min)

Policies

Fees, Cancellations & Refunds

Payment is due at time of registration: 

Payment is due at time of registration. Registration fees include only program attendance and identified continuing education credits. All additional costs associated with participant attendance of the training are the sole responsibility of the participant.


Minimum attendance requirements:

Simply Rewire reserves the right to cancel any training if a minimum of 20 participants is not met by the registration deadline.


Force Majeure Events:

Simply Rewire reserves the right to cancel any training if a Force Majeure Event occurs. 


Refunds:

In the event that Simply Rewire cancels a training event, participants will receive a 100% refund of their registration fee(s). Simply Rewire is not responsible for any reimbursement of participants’ incurred travel, food, and/or lodging expenses etc. Refunds will not be provided for any participant who is removed from the program for any reason. 


Participant cancellation policy:

Cancellation must be requested in writing by email to jennifer@simplyrewireemdr.com PRIOR to the date of training. Refunds will not be issued after the training has occurred.

To receive a full refund of the registration fee, participants must cancel their registration at least 14 days prior to the first day of the training. All refunds including "full refunds" will be less the credit card processing fees. 

Cancellation requests received after 14 days prior to the first day of the training will receive a 50% refund if canceled 8-13 days prior to the first day of the training; 0% refund if canceled 7-0 days prior to the first day of the training.


Transferability: 

Registrations are transferable to another training date. Fees transferred to another training date are valid for up to 365 days from the original date of purchase. Fees that are not used within 365 days will become void and non refundable. Registration may only be transferred once per purchase. Transfers must be requested prior to the date of training. Transfers will not be permitted after the training has occurred.

Technology

1. This virtual event will be hosted via Zoom Webinar, and you may be prompted to download or upgrade your Zoom app if using a mobile device. A strong WiFi connection will be required for best quality.


2. We recommend clicking your "Join Webinar" button early and checking that your speakers are on before the event begins. Please do not worry about being seen or heard! Attendee video feeds and mics are turned off by default when entering a webinar. You will be able to ask questions via the Q&A feature.


3. Please respect that no copying, recording, or distribution of live session content is allowed. CE's are provided for the "live" sessions only. CE's will not be available for the recordings.
