About this course

This program provides an introduction to designing and practicing EMDR within an intensive therapy model vs. a traditional therapy model. The focus is on foundational information about the intensive therapy model, differences with traditional therapy approach to EMDR protocol and clinical considerations for selecting appropriate clients for intensives.

  • Jennifer Jenkins-Boitnott, LPC

    Jennifer Jenkins-Boitnott is a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDRIA Consultant dedicated to providing elevated EMDR therapy and intensives at her private practice, Sea Glass, in Richmond, VA. Jennifer takes an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy, combining EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and an attachment-focused lens to provide customized care for adults navigating healing their complex trauma.

    In addition to her clinical work, Jennifer is the owner of Simply Rewire, where she focuses on offering consultation and training to EMDR therapists. Through Simply Rewire, she provides expert guidance to clinicians seeking to refine their skills, enhance their confidence, and deepen their understanding of EMDR therapy. Jennifer is passionate about mentoring the next generation of EMDR therapists, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to excel.

    With a strong foundation in trauma therapy, Jennifer combines her expertise in EMDR with a commitment to professional development and clinician support. Whether through direct client care, consultation, or training, she strives to advance the field of EMDR therapy by empowering both clients and therapists in their journey toward healing and professional mastery.
